The text on the artwork translates to Free Palestine

In Mohamed’s words:

“ I am Mohamed, a 25-year-old Palestinian man from Gaza. I used to work as a truck driver for a company. I lived a life full of hope and ambition in my city. I married my beloved Nana a few days before the sudden outbreak of the recent war. We never imagined that our lives would turn so fast and dramatic. On October 15, we were forced to flee from our warm home in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving behind all our memories and furniture, we had no idea that we would spend the next months moving between shelters we live in tents and cold nights.

My wife Nana gave birth to our first child on 4/20/2025 and we named her Iman. I wished she had come to a better life than this one, and now I feel a great responsibility towards her and her future.

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, asking for urgent help. I created this page because I desperately need your support, as everything is incredibly expensive. I need your support to cover my food and living expenses here, to buy my baby's diapers, milk, and food, and to evacuate my family from Gaza to Egypt.

Evacuation is our only chance to escape the violence and find safety and stability after losing everything we own.

The situation in Gaza is extreme. I want to give my wife and child the future they deserve. I still hold hope in my heart that peace and stability will return to our homeland and that we can live our happy lives. Thank you to everyone who read my story and wanted to be by our side during this difficult time. We hope that one day we can repay them for this kindness.“
